William Butler Mann
William is a student at the Sciences Po school of journalism, in Paris. Before attending the school he earned a Masters of Science from the Columbia Journalism School, where he studied documentary production. He was awarded the Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship and the Joan Konner award for broadcast journalism.
While at Columbia he produced a short documentary following one amateur diver’s desperate search for a sunken artifact. Shot in the cinema verité style, the film was screened at the Maysles documentary center in the Bronx.
He is currently producing a short documentary on a team of French volunteers traveling 1000 miles to deliver aid to refugees in Ukraine.
